This may have been posted before, if not here it is, a site to find ethanol free gas. With E15 being approved and talk of E20 things dont look good for older vehicles. You can go to this site http://WWW.PURE-GAS.ORG and click on your state. You can sign the petition if you wish.

It surprises me that there are any places where you can buy ethanol-free gas at all any more.

First, they took our lead away. Then, they added alcohol. Now, they want to increase the percentage of corn juice while decreasing the amount of actual gasoline (and charging us more for it in the first place).

Someone told me the other day that they're going to start showing porno films on those little gas pump monitor screens so we can wath other people getting screwed at the same time we are. ;)

Aircraft fuel

I have to admit that that I don't know just what is in it for content, but consider aircraft fuel. We went to visit a collector of high end antique vehicles last fall, and they were telling us they put in airplane fuel prior to storing the cars , because it does not degrade. I think they drain off the regular gas, put in a little aircraft fuel and run it for a time. I think if they are then going to use the car, they just add in over the road gasoline. Anyone here better educated to comment on this? :!:

I have been using aviation gas for my small engine tools. (chain saw, weed eater, trimmer) and it works great. Need to add a bit more 2 cycle oil and they told me it has a shelf life of over 2 years. Still under $4 a gallon where we get it.
Now the new item to be coming along is "Butanol". I just read an article about it, it has almost the same BTU/gal as gas, does not attract water and is not corrosive and it can be made super cheap from sugar cane. OH WAIT!!!! The government will step in and ruin it for us.

If you look at the areas in your state with no E10 you will see areas that have boating. Why, because it sucks big time in our boats, more than even our cars and trucks. Early in the lead free change Av Gas still had it and I used to travel the 5 miles to fill up my vintage sport car. Alcohol is for drinking, not in my fuel! And let the farmers grow corn for Vodka, maybe we can gain back some export business.
