One more time.

Installed the snow blade today, been doing this each winter season for the past 30 years and have needed to use it only about every third year. Took the truck out for a run to fill the tank then spent about an hour lubing all the grease fiittings and making sure everything was good to go. It snowed here today for the first time this year and that was enough of a motivator to get to work. Last time the rig was worked on was several months ago when I installed new wheel cyls, then did a thorough cleaning, painting and adjustment of the brakes so that is done and with the blade on I am ready for another snow assault. Last year was the coldest and snowiest I have seen in many seasons of doing this work and I am ready for another round but hope for a little less accumulation.

Lookin good Carter!

Can you take a photo of your blade attachment for me as I'm interested to see how you have fitted it all together.

Cheers

I see, thanks. So you use the actual winch to lift and lower the blade?

Nice :)

Yes, the winch powers the blade. I used the same set-up with a different mount on the WC 52 I used to drive, saved me from buying and installing a hyd. or elec. system and it's easy to operate and simple to install by one man, me

Dagnabbit! I've tried everything I can think of and still get the red X.
