The slave cable positive goes to the starter and the ground on the frame. Don't know about the radio power.

Power cables for the radio go to the neg and pos positions of the batterys. Through the bed wall and into the cab then down the back into a hole at the back of the battery box. Your main cables come up from the floor into the box.

The starter is where the "hot" battery cable goes. It's a big, hefty cable which is capable of carrying a pretty heavy load. This makes it a very handy spot to tap current for everything else, which is why all vehicle manufacturers us it. Current is not running through the starter all the time...only when cranking the engine.
