Part or Sell Whole

After many hours of thought, I've decided that my M37 is not for me. I've always wanted a Civilian 1-ton Power Wagon and I can't get that WANT out of mind so I'm going to keep saving to get what I truely desire.

So, . . . . should I part out my M37 or sell er' whole?

I'm pretty sure the engine is a boat anchor and the tranny is MIA. Cab/tub has cancer spots that can be fixed by someone with a little more patience than I have. Otherwise, the remainding drivetrain, interior, winshield and exterior is in really good shape for a resto.

Update: Dug a little further into motor today. Engine is not siezed and turns with ease. I found out that the water pump is froze up tighter than a frogs butt. Will order a replacement tomorrow and see if I can get er' to turn over with a little juice.

Sorry to hear that you desided to "unload" the M37. They really are great trucks. I will pass along some MV advise given to me 20 years ago by an old time (back then) MVer friend of mine. He told me "If you're working on that model A in your garage and a '43 GPW rolls buy and your little heart goes pidder-padder, pidder-padder. You'd better dump that model A quick and go find yourself a GPW. You won't be truly happy until you do."

If it's the 1 ton closed cab PW that makes your little heart go pidder-padder, then dump that M37 and get the PW. Hey, if you want to come back to the G741 side, later on, I'm sure there will be one available to buy- they did make oodles of them.
