Fording Kit Valve Brackets?

I have collected the pieces of the kit - breather pipe/bracket, exhaust/bracket, crankcase valves w/ends, and dual control cable(hard to find). Looking for the mounting ends of the cables to the valves? In the manual, they look like small band brackets that loop around the upper/lower vent tube and then have a little clasp that secure the outer sheath of the cable. Any thoughts on locating these 2 pieces? Thanks.

John at Midwest has the crankcase valves - the cable and brackets appear to be the big deal.

I have a long one and a short one. Someone told me that the short one is from a jeep. I made mine work simply by routing the lower cable thru the carb support bracket versus up and around the carb as spec'd. Then I found the longer version but the copper tube that secures the cable sheath is broken allowing the sheath to slip. MW tells me there is no real repair so I will attempt a small hose clamp after I install.

Fording Kit - Breather Hose?

I saw the posting of the fording kit complete at $450, and it sounds like its all there. As you know, I have all the pieces now except the flexible hose the connects the air intake to the breather pipe. Is there a recommended type/size/length from NAPA? I also noted that the routing seems to differ truck to truck.

the 1 we have looks like a house dryer hose but black and smaller diameter, maybe air duct flexible hose for a older chevy truck with a/c like 1986?

Rick - the dual for the M37 measured from the edge of the copper crimp is 35/50 for each cable to the tip of the wire sticking out. The short M38 version I have measures 35/39 from the edge of the crimp to the tip of the wire. I would be interested in swapping you the M38 that I have for your M37. My M37 has a small crack at the crimp which John at MW says is going to be toast.

Let me know - Keith
