I had a great night last night at the local Little Anthony's Diner car show. Our group the SAMVCC had 3 jeeps a Kubelwagon and a Ural motorcycle present. Also an MG42 set up on an anti aircraft tripod. That was really popular as was the 50 cal in the Jeep. I also want to say that the Kubelwagon was hand built from just a VW pan and engine by it's owner. There was about 200 cars and trucks there. The guy who owned the blue Buick next to my truck in the picture drove WC's in world war 2. I got a lot of nice comments from folks and a couple of stories from vets who drove M37's back in the day. BUT I was floored when I got called for an award. I won best special entry !!! Push me over with a feather!!. Here are a few pics.
