Just whack me in head...

Folks,

Survived a winter time trip to hospital then rehab after an attack of enterococcus. Bad bug, not meant to live in blood stream, this one objected and in turn caused me some serious downtime.

Again and again since, I've tried to force myself to get active and TRY to get off of ass, get back to shop, yard, range, ANYTHING but "recovering from illness".

Not been that successful. Between hands full of pills, occasional IV drips, and just plain "recovery time", developed a tremor in hands and arms, eyesight much poorer for experience.

Complaining? Not much, still alive most days. Life that is sucks when I've got just an hour or two a day that is worth much.

Looks like I'll be cleaning shop and back yard of the M-37's . Too large, too long length a project to think about getting Old Blue back on road.
If one lives in pacific NW USA, I'll cut a deal/barter for what I've got..

Lookin' ugly and feeliin' same not quite what I wanted this time of life! :)

Still kicking and carpin',

kevinL

There will be plenty more M37's about the place if you ever feel the need down the track to tinker, trucks can be replaced, you can't!! You're one tough Nugget and I hope you beat this beast for good, You always have a place on here and maybe you can use it as a bit of "therapy"...
Take Good Care

Best Regards - MM :D

Likewise from me, also, Kevin! Been wondering where you were hiding. Your hospital must not be as well equipped as the VA hospitals or the nurses must keep closer tabs on the patients. During my last extended stay at the VA hospital in Iowa City, IA, I managed to get online and check out the forum every night. The nurses on the 1100-0700 shift were rather lenient and allowed me access to the wall-mounted terminal just outside the door to my room. Even though I got "lucky," I would have preferred not to be there in the first place. "Hiding out" in hospitals is definately not fun. Glad you're back, but don't overextend yourself! :)
