I got a bad case of the cabs

Thought the title of my post might get your attention 8) :) .

I'm in the process of removing the cab from my M37. Have all the linkages, rods, wires and what not either disconected or removed outright. I've removed 4 large cab bolts from the floor of the cab. Three had springs and one was larger around yet shorter then the other three. Are there any other cab mounting bolts to remove that I might have missed?

Does anyone offer patch panels for "rough" spots on the cab such as the cowl vent area (mine is particularly rough around this area)?

Matt

4 bolts for the Cab; no patch panels except for the front headlight mounting area, and the back bottom of the front fenders (that I'm aware of).

Are you refering to the stamped area that the vent sits in or are you referring to the flat areas on top?

Post a pic and we can see if we can help out.

I replaced the areas at the top of my cab near the vents. I just took my time with a Mig Welder.

The repair is documented with pics over on the Dodge Power Wagon Advertiser forum.

Thanks guys, The first MV that I ever did a frame off resto on was a '44 WC51 and I've been noticing the similarities between the two Dodges. One of those would be the cab mounting bolts.

The stamped area where the vent sits in is the rough part (the drain channel underneith the vent just crumbled in my hands) I'm a bit of a computer cave man so posting pics is going to be a little ways off (for mow) but I have been documenting everything I've been doing to date with a camera. The other rough spots on the cab are near the driver's side windshield frame pivot point. Overall, the cab's not to bad I guess. It's just going to require a lot of attention.

I'm pretty sure I've seen patch panels for the lower rear round corners. Not sure where though.
