Well dropped a couple of batteries in the M37 this weekend to see if I got spark and I was denied... No spark but the engine turned over really nicely...

So I need to find out where or why my power isn't being distributed and with all the top notch work the former owner/s did I can see why I'm at this point...

So... I see on my diagram there are some circuit breakers... Where might those be located... ?

Secondly I am not getting any power to the instrument cluster when the ignition is on with a aftermarket ignition switch which may or may not work...

Lastly where shall I start to try to track down where I have and have not power... I was thinking about starting with No. 4 wire going to the regulator from the starter...

Any suggestions... Appreciated...

Since you apparently have a wiring diagram that's a good start. The circuit breakers are under the dash,mounted to the brace for the cowl vent linkage. My suggestion would be a total rewire, either making your own harness or buying one from someplace like Vintage wiring of Maine. Expensive but excellent quality.

I was thinking about doing that to get me through... I don't want to bother with a replacement right now because the truck will go through tear down as soon as I get the motor re fired...

I'll have to get up under the dash and see what I can find...

I know there are some circuit breakers under the dash on the mount above the cab scoop handle-three, I think, that might be a good starting point.

3 ckt breakers attached to that center strut. I had wanted to avoid replacing the wiring harness, but while tracing down a problem caused by the 'creative' "restoration" done by the previous owner, what I found terrified me: bare wires, insulation so dry-rotted it fell off at a touch, a chafed raw battery cable below the floor pan ( positive, naturally ).
I have no explanation for why the truck didn't spontaneously combust.

Yeah I finally got to the bottom of it this tonight and finally have power back to 27 and 12 the former owner must have gotten the wires mixed up because 11 was not hooked up properly as soon as I got 11 hooked up to the circuit breakers everything else as I reconnected it came back up...
