Front knuckle cone

Can someone tell me how far to the bearings onto the studs. Is flush good.

Hi Gerry,
I did mine some years ago and recall them being flush (top and bottom) and I stayed with the copper tops and bearing bottoms. I would think the sheer weight would "seat" the bottoms anyway :D

Thats what I was thinking but if someone had the tool the manual talks about they may of known how its seats them

It's an absolute must that the bearing cones are bottomed against the shoulder of the pin, makes no difference about flush at the top. Otherwise they will move and destroy the preload setting and you will not be happy with the result.
