I need to bleed the brakes in my M-37 and was thinking of changing over to DOT 5 fluid and wanted to find out what others think of using it. What's your opinion of it?
Also thinking of buying a Motive Products pressurized brake bleeder system. Does anyone know what adapter it takes to fit the M-37?

Dot 3 has many pro's and cons.
Dot 4 has many pros and cons.
Dot 5 has many pros and cons.
I would suggest you read the many easy to find essays already written on the three basic brake fluid choices and then select the one that best fits your needs and your equipment.

Keep it simple. Use DOT3 and bleed your brakes once and a while as routine maintenance, and everything will be fine. No need for a power bleeder. A friend will do fine.

You don't even need a friend, I used a sqweegie with about an 18 inch handle. I pump brake pedal, then use the sqweegie wedged against the seat bottom to hold down the pedal while I bleed the cylinders. Its a little bit of a pain to do it this way as you have to get up and release it each time you move to another cylinder, but its better than waiting for that friend to arrive.

Switching to DOT 5 may require all rubber components. If your putting in a new system (as I am) DOT 5 is good.
