I am about ready to sell My extra M37 Truck, I have 2 of the M37'S and a Restored M43... The m37 I have is a very nice solid truck with a Braden Winch, Hardtop, nice solid body, 24 Volt Western Hydro turn plow... I can not get spark out of the distributor, I have 2 extra coils and will try that next and am ordering new points and condenser.. I do have power to the distributor.. I will try the new parts this week and hope to get her running again, if not the truck will be sold as is for 5000.00 to someone ...... It is a awesome looking truck... not able to keep my shed full of all these vehicles as I have 5 jeeps also.. thanks for any help, I can't figure out how to post pics but if someone is interested in buying will send some by email to your personal addy...

Yeah, maybe so, but if I parted it out, which would be a shame it would probably fetch that.. I believe the 24 volt Western Hydro turn plow and Braden winch should be worth 2000.00 and a rust free m37 should be worth another 3000.00 shouldn't it??? maybe not but it will end up staying in the shed if not.. thanks..

I wouldn't part it out over no spark. Its something simple, especially if there is power to the distributor. Don't give up. Its something simple.

yes I know, two days ago, a friend and I pulled a tranny and transfer case out of a 50 jeep truck and rebuilt my 1948 jeep tranny, and she works great now, but I am not giving up yet, long way to go on trying things on the m37, I just don't know why I bought a 2nd one when I also have a m43 which is alot like the m37 as far as alot of it goes... thanks again..

It shouldn't take you long to figure out why no spark, you're most likely on the right track already. Your story sounds similar to mine, I have 3 Willys Jeeps and an M37 and and M43. I bought the M43 partly because I have the M37 so I'm already familiar with the drivetrain and electrical.
