River crossing

Found some old photos crossing Cherry Creek Az, 12 years ago in the M37. The videos are from two weeks ago crossing the same spot with my '07 Jeep JK. You gotta love flash flooding in the desert!! Crossing 12 years ago I remember the water being deeper, just not so swift. Talking with the rancher, (who's vehicle is parked on the other side of the river- LOL); he said they were expecting two more days of rain and the water could rise several more feet, that if we couldn't cross by the end of the day we would be there for at least another week, if we were lucky!!!

video 3 Me checking the depth, speed, and footing of the freezing cold river. My face at the end says it all!!

video 4 After waiting several hours for the water to subside we cross Cherry Creek.
