My Tee doesn't have a flare protrusion where the rubber hose screws in. There is ones for the 2 steel lines is this correct or is my Tee bad. Also would you use sealant on its threads to aid in sealing?

Tubing threads do not seal out fluid. Their tubing flare seals to the cones under the pressure applied by the threads. Therefore NOyou do not use sealants on the threads of tube type fittings. You do use thread sealant on tapered pipe threads since the fluid seal is at the threads.

Thanks for the answer. I was trying to find out if the rubber hose is supposed to be a flare or not since my Tee doesnt have a cone (rotted away?) on the fitting for that hose but it does on the other two.

The tee fitting located on both front and rear axle housings should have the inverted flares in all 3 ports. Otherwise you will see leaking as there will be nothing to seal the fluid.

Thats what I thought. Guess it must of rotted out.
