If you go to a place that deals in truck tires only, you may find some there. All tire dealers can order them if they don't have them in stock...you just have to find one who is willing to go the extra mile for a sale. If he won't do it (or says he can't get 'em), take your business elswhere. All of it!

About two years ago I got a set of XZL tires and this is the imformation I had. I will try to fine the name of the company I got them from but this is the best I can do right now.

Thanks to Mike and Brad Z. for giving me the correct info on the type of tube needed for a NATO Michelin Tire! With their help, I was able to find the correct type of tube and flap, with the correct style stem, by asking for a "lowboy trailer radial 11 x 16 tube.

These tubes are made by International Tube and Tire (ITT) and have the same stem as the Non-Radial 9 x 16 tube VPW sells. They are 9/10/11 R15-16 Radial Truck Tubes, ITT Product Code 11430, with Stem TR75A, which is a Brass Stem, with a 90 degree bend that just comes to the inner edge of the Split Ring, or Combat Wheel ring, so it doesn't hang out where it can be damaged.

The flaps are by the same manufacturer, and are 8 x 16 radial Flaps that are the same thickness and width as the original Michelin flaps that I took out.

Michelin tube 16P9 or 16P with Michelin 6M16 Flaps

However I placed an order on 12/04 with:
International Tube and Tire
Houston Texas
713-973-8880

And am still waiting, they said they had tubes but no flaps. If you call and they now have them, let me know.

I am looking into this, I just bought some XZL. I will try this, I don't see much out there. The valve stems on the tubes at this place in TX look different than I thought, I will have to ask around about these.

Oh nice I will shoot them an email thanks!

Nobody has gotten back to me, one guy has said it's ok to use the 9.00R16 tubes but I haven't had anyone I consider an expert say that is a good plan. I hope it's true because we can get those easily.

Well this is not going well, I may be in trouble. I have some very expensive tires here and nobody is replying to me with good news. One shop said just use the 900R16 tubes and another says that sounds dangerous. They do make the size for tractors but the stems are tiny and I doubt they would work.

I’ve seen several folks say 9 tubes will work in 11s.

We might try one of the older tubes as a test. I was thinking about getting the 1100 tractor tubes and adding valve stem extensions to them. We are going to blast the combat rims and see about replacing the nuts etc.. We will see what looks good I guess. Thanks.

From the other thread, I have those flathead screws for your brake drums. Let me know if you still need them.
