My M37 is up for sale again. I had a buyer lined up and he called me yesterday to inform me that he had a certified check in the agreed upon amount and that he would be here at noon today to complete the deal and pick up the truck. Unfortunately, he called again this morning to tell me that "something came up" and he wouldn't be able to buy my truck after all. :?

So....., here we go again:

1954 Dodge M37 For Sale
$3,000 (with substantial discount to forum members)

Sounds like the same clown who came to look at the pop-up camper I had for sale a couple years ago. Agreed to buy at the price I had set(didn't haggle), then never came back.....Loser. Fortunately I sold it to someone else a week later......I was hoping guy #1 would have then called. I would have loved to have gotten the satisfaction to tell him "sorry bud, you snooze you lose".....

This guy actually came to look at it back in October and drooled all over it. He seemed to want it pretty bad, A couple of weeks later, he came back to look it over again (better weather). He had his dad with him on the second trip and they both drooled over it. Before they left, he offered to give me a deposit to hold it for him, but I told him it wasn't necessary. I wouldn't sell it out from under him once we shook on it. He called me several times after that, inquiring about preferred methods of payment and asking if I'd be willing to hold it for him until after the holidays. I agreed to that. I think he really wants it, but "something came up" last night to queer the deal. My wife thinks that either his wife said "NO!" or he got into a poker game last night and lost his truck money. ;) Hard to say what happened, really. I didn't feel it was my business to ask. I just hope it wasn't a medical emergency of some sort,
