The probleum with facebook is half the postings you want to make are about half the people you dont want to read them.
At least here I dont know anyone well enough to bitch about anyone, and we all have at least 1 common intrest.
Today I find myself in partly sunny southern Cal. Orange County to be more exact.
Its my wifes birthday and were staying here at her brothers house, the only person that makes me feel inferior.
He picked us up from the air port in his new Mercedes CLS550 (his work car)( the one we will be driving to lego land) then on to the house for the reveal as he put it, with the porsche carrera and Lotus Elise in the garage.
Oh well, its only for a fiew days, and hell, I get to drive a cool car.

Don't feel inferior. Everybody down here has to put on a show. Most are mortgaged to the hilt and driving leased cars or company cars, We even have a Range Rover in the garage :) It's leased :D Kurt in the OC

Rich, Enjoy the warm weather and your wifes birthday. Make sure you take "Der Panzer" out and drive it like it was meant to be driven.

Rich, if he is from sunny southern Kommiefornia, he most likely doesnt own any of that... just renting it all from teh bank like everyone else there, which is why that state is so utterly screwed, everyone is up to their necks in debt...

Think about that, it should make you feel a bit better

So cal

We have a term for it here....

Champaign taste on a beer budget....

Guy is probably in hock up to his eyeballs, so why feel inferior to that?

Its not about how much money you make, its about how much debt you can carry. At least, thats the Canadian way...

Besides, most guys that drive cars like that are usually "compensating" for something anyway. No reason to feel inferior about that...

Thanks guys.
Its raining buckets here in sunny southern California, but its better than looking at all the snow at home.
The wife and I met up with friends from Arizona and their 3 kids and spent the day at Lego Land.
I know we (wife and I) spent over a grand getting in, lunch, birthday gifts for my wife, toys for all the kids, and of corse I being the biggest oldest kid had to get the best toy. I cant wate to get home and build and program my Mindstorm Robot.
Speaking of robots, imagine an industrial robot with 2 seats attached, you choose the level of intensity you think you can stand, get strapped in, and wow! When I win the lottery Im getting one of those.

I did open up "Der Panzer" for a fiew seconds, the wife started to freek out but I told her I had to or her brother would be disapointed in me.
We head for home tomarrow afternoon, its a good thing I have a good job or it would shure suck to go back.
