I hope to be installing my engine back on my bare frame soon. Is there anything such as the brake lines and fuel lines that should be installed first?
Thanks,

Front brake lines are easier to bend and install before the motor goes in, but not required.

Will thanks,
Is it a lot cheaper to bend your own and do you need anything special to make the connections?
Thanks,

Not that I remember.

I did the Disc Brake Conversion and it comes with the adapter to use 1/4" lines. The only issue with the dual master cylinder is the brake switch availability locally, had to order on-line.

Gerry,
You might want to install the front crossmember fuel line before the engine as well as the front axle brake lines, banjo and hoses.
I bought the ready made brake line kit from Midwest. It fit perfect and I had all the lines installed in less than a half-hour. When I took into consideration the labor and how many trips to NAPA I might have to make for fittings and such if I made my own it was worth every penny. Although some folks do not like the armor on the stock brake lines, it traps mud if you plan to off-road. :)

David,
Thanks for the info. I want the origanal look and was leaning towards the prefab myself.
