Getting ready to paint my truck I picked up a can of this KRYLON Paint 4293 Olive, must admit it looks good on the little part of the frame that painted.

What I like to know is has anyone painted their entire truck with it and if so how is it holding up?

I know that I can get it by the gallon.

Good so for, and is easy to touch up. I only went that route because of working on it a piece at a time and at that time only in a garage with no paint both, or ability to do it the proper way.

I am using Krylon on my rig. They offer "Color on Demand" for matching. You will have to buy 4 gallons at a time. This is their OD semi-gloss they made for me:

This picture is the test spray I did last summer. It is a bit more glossy that the others out there. This is without hardener. I am going to test it with hardener on the running boards in April to see how the finish looks.
Hopefully it won't make it too shiny. Overall I am satisfied with the coverage and sprayability. 8)

You can make a simple paint booth or paint area by hanging plastic sheets from the walls and ceiling and ducting the air outside with an old fan. In my case I bought one of those cheap portable car port things for like $99.00 then added a couple blue tarps for walls. I did it just so I could spray without getting paint on my house or fumes into the house as I have an attached garage. .

Nickathome,

Yea, I did that for painting the motor, but I had to tear everything down each night and pull my wife's car back in so I worked as quick and simple as I could. Also I would still need to do a final proper prep on the body so wasn't really ready for a good final paint job, so this was my quick simple solution.
