Not sure what you are asking
The BAR is an excellent hunting gun...although the BOSS system makes it 3X louder than without. Since it is designed for hunting I wouldn't want to go from say a 168 or 180 grn standard bullet down to a mere 55 grn Accellerator. You are going to reduce the available "knock-down" power.
The M1A Match is for poking 1 hole, multiple times, in a sheet a paper

It can be a good hunter also if you like open sights. The Accelerator in it would be a little bit more prone to wind at greater distances (target shooting)....Once again, the light Accelerator round reduces your delivered energy downrange......not a problem if it's paper, but not fun if it's an animal. The advantage to using the Accelerator is reduced recoil and if you reload it's cheaper.
I reload my all my own hunting and plinking rounds and have specific rounds made for different guns. I know where my stuff is going to hit every time in a specific gun...I can't always say that about store bought ammo. What do you want your guns to do? Hit paper or hunt?

Murf thanks for the reply, just like that round for what I seen it do to an old Hi C juice Can in a 30/30 round small in and fraged exit just a nasty little bugger , and was thinking of picking up a few boxes of each but was not sure if they would work in the boss system made me think twice about it not working and to just try it and trash two good riffels is just nuts the M1A has the flash tip on it so again made me think twice .

Oh they will "work" in both of those guns fine I would think although the bullet is shorter the tapered plastic sabot should still feed ok. As for the flash hider that's not a problem as the bullet dosen't have any physical contact with it.
The ported BOSS serves to allow the rifle shooter to 'tune' the harmonics, or vibrations, of the rifle barrel to find the sweet spot for the particular load being shot. The ported BOSS serves a dual function role, allowing tuning and reducing felt recoil also

The BOSS is an amazing thing. I've got an A-Bolt II in 7mm Rem Mag with the ported BOSS. The year before I bought mine I was at the range with a buddy of mine who was sighting in his 7mm(without BOSS) for the first time, and I had to help him finish because he was flinching so bad after about 10 rounds. When the boss came out the next year I just had to have it. Its as gentle as a .243, and once it was dialed in I was putting up nickle sized groups at 100yds with off the shelf ammo. BTW its at least 3 times louder, and I dig the muzzle flash.

I LIKE THE M1A. I THINK IT IS A FINE SEMIAUTO RIFLE, IN A POTENT CALIBER.I MIGHT GET ONE SOMEDAY. FOR THE MOMENT I PICKED A PRE 64 WICHESTER MODEL 70 FROM AN OLD MAN THAT HAD IT SINCE HIS YOUTH. THE GUN IS IN EXCELLENT SHAPE, WITH MOST OF ITS FINISH THERE AND CHAMBERED FOR THE 270 WINCHESTER. THE RIFLING IS CLEAN AND VIVID AND THE ACTION SMOOTH. REALLY NICE. I INSTALLED A 50MM SCOPE ON IT AND CAN'T WAIT TO BRING IT TO THE SHOOTING RANGE FOR ZEROING IN

Tell me about it! I was never given ear protection at the range while I was in the service and had to re-qualify every 6 months due to the nature of my work. I was also on the base rifle team at two different bases, meaning that I spent a
lot of my off-duty time at the range for tge better part of 7 years. Is it any wonder why I have hearing aids now?
