Snickers Bar takes me out..

So Saturday night the wife and I are watching TV. I grab a little Snickers bar from the candy dish. 30 seconds into it I feel the crown on my lower right molar pull off. A great feeling... I spit out the candy in my hand and start fishing for the gold crown in the mess of chewed up candy. The expression on my wifes face was priceless...... Must call the dentist this morning, what a way to start the week

The beauty of losing your crowns is that I am about on the 4th one and the gold is piling up.
Lets see. what was gold $1050.00 an ounce.

I can't seem to go a full year without breaking a tooth and needing a root canal. My God , $950 for 40 minutes in the dentist's chair and that does not include the required crown afterwards, that's another $600. $1550 to save a tooth, and I've had about 6 done so far in 10 years, more to come. I'm switching to baby food!

I am happy to announce the dentist was able to re-cement my crown. 25 minutes and I was out of there. $79. I feared the tooth might be bad but all of the blackness was just the old cement. A little grinding, fresh glue, and I was good to go :D

I didn't think you could walk into the Dentist office for less than a $100. You got very lucky.
