transmission flush?

When I was pressure washing over the thanksgiving holiday, I got a little carried away and got some water in the transmission through the shift tower.
I drained the oil today and got most of the water that way. I took off the top cover and there's nothing rusted, just covered with spots of water beads. What can I use to clean and flush the rest of the oil and water? A friend suggested diesel fuel or kerosene.
What does the hive mind suggest?

Not a huge issue, when it causes a real problem is when you aren't aware and water remains to be mixed with the oil. Just be sure you have drained it completely; if you have a PTO on it, you will not be able to drain the oil/water that is in it without removing it from the trans and manually dumping it and cleaning. If no PTO is in play, all the oil will come out the trans drain hole in the rear of the case. Since you pulled the top and can tell that all water droplets are removed, simply button it back up and refill with oil. We recommend 50 weight oil blended for transmission use, it will run cooler, shift better in cold weather, etc. It is a much better choice than 90 weight, we have proven the theory over several years of use.
Flushing with some other product such as diesel fuel is not recommended as it can dilute the oil after refill, if you still feel a flush is needed, use only the oil you intend to run in it as the flushing fluid.

I'll get some inexpensive 50 weight oil to flush it and then put the Royal Purple 50W I bought back in it. I don't think I want to use Royal Purple for flush....
Whew, I'm glad it's not a big deal! Thanks Charles!
