I just watched a pretty bad rented move called MEGAFAULT. The redeeming part was at the climax when SEVERAL M37's run through a quarry. There's actually a good 5+ minutes of nice shots of the trucks saving the planet.

I just watched "Above and Beyond" on DVD about WW II ferry pilot service. Nice slow paced movie, lots of good aircraft shots and numerous M37 and M43s Bwhahahahaha my wife laughed when I jumped out of the chair. Hollywood does it again.

Sounds like it along with "Battle of the Bulge" staring Henery Fonda would make a good double feature  .

Hah. Imagine outrunning a fault in a stock M37. I'd be lucky to outrun a glacier ... or perhaps a turtle ... a dead one ...

Hi all just joined, but have been visiting this site for along time. I was wondering how long it would take some one to see that movie. I am the oner of the two m37's in the film. It was filmed in Iowa and they asked for "army trucks", so are local MVPA group showed up on set one day. They wanted humvees but all we have is old stuff.

I rented 2 of my yard beaters to a movie company for a movie called "The Celestine Prophesy" shot here in Ocala, Florida. It was an OK movie but never made it to the big screen. They paid me well and extra for any damage. Hard to damage my yard beater any more than it is.
Here are a few pictures while I was on set keeping things running. The bus getting blown up was a real waker upper.

My wife absolutely hates to watch a "war" movie (that's any movie with military stuff in it, whether a war is taking place or not) with me. Some people yell at the TV whenever their football team scores or when they make a stupid mistake. I holler every time I see a gross uniform violation or the wrong period vehicle/equipment/uniforms/etc. in a movie. I believe that Hollywood's "military advisors" don't do their jobs very well.
