Transfer shifters?

I happened to notice something odd about my transfer shifters. Does this look right to you guys?

Yours are stock, mine were cobbled together by the previous owner.

On my truck the linkage's have 90 degree bends that go through the shift rods on the transfer case. I only have threaded clevises on the lever ends.
