Cool it worked! First time too!! I'm machining pinion seal adapters for modern seals and want to post pictures on my progress.I'm also going to post pictures when making my spotlight mount,so I can show everybody how I do it.

Here's a really crappy picture of a tool I modified. Its not finished yet (paint, etc),but works flawlessly with precise control. I'll post better pictures later. The degree wheel is there for looks. I use electronic/digital angle finders when bending. Its originally a JD2 bender. I got rid of the manual compound leverage system and modified it for air over hydraulic. I also modified the way it bends. It now works in a vertical plane,so I'm not limited on space in the shop (sky's the limit...literally).This design makes it VERY compact!. It comes apart in three pieces to facilitate easy loading into the trunk of a car,or back of a truck without getting a hernia.

If I remember correctly,it will bend a full 135 degrees with one full stroke of the ram. If the power goes out,or an air compressor isn't available,I can operated it manual over hydraulic.

I can't wait to show you the seal adapters too. I should have one done today.

I just registered my truck with this web site too!

I've owned it nearly 14 years now.

Dang! Nice looking kabobs! If you lived closer, I think I'd have to invite myself over for dinner now and then!
