Look where the pipes go down in the corners of the cab behind the seats.
You will find J-bolts that need to be released before the pipes will come up straight out of the cab corners.

Make sure someone didn't Mig-weld the upper bow, attaching it to the vertical pipes-some do this to ensure the bow won't detach from the top of the vertical pipe (not necessary if you have the weight of the top laying on it, as well as tying it down at the bottom).

Sometimes rust inside the bow will cause it to stick to the vertical supports. A few raps with a rubber mallot from underneath should get it to move.......

Hi Bob,
It does not seem like a hard project to make a tonneau cover for an M37. I have als had a raft of British cars, still do. I always liked the tonneau cover option.

A tonneau cover is an outstanding idea! All the "topless" fun you can handle and easy to button up for the night. Ya still can't beat a real roof in the event of rain, though. ;)

YOU ARE RIGHT I THINK A TONNEAU COVER IS THE WAY TO GO. I JUST PLACED AN ORDER FOR 3 YARDS OF SUNBRELLA MARINE FABRIC. I WILL HAVE THE UPOLSTRY SHOP THAT RE DID THE SEATS MAKE UP THE TONNEAU. I WILL ATTACH PICS WHEN INSTALLED; IF I NEW HOW TO. I WAS GOING TO ATTACH A PIC OF MY M37 WITH THIS REPLY. ANY HELP WITH GETTING A PIC ATTACHED WOULD BE APPRECIATED. THANKS

One of the things you need is an image hosting site such as webshots, tiny urls, the list is endless. I have just started using Adobe, not sure weather its stored on my cpu or in their storage bin, but it seems to work.
