Transmission #2 installed...

Taking advantage of some decent weather and finally having the throwout bearing sleeve in hand, I decided to install the rebuilt transmission last evening. It went in without a hitch-probably because I've had to do this job three or four times for various reasons, and you can't beat an NOS input shaft for a good clutch-aligning tool. I still need to weld up and re-drill the upper clutch rod arm because the connecting hole is an oval shape from so much wear over the years. I'll probably order a new one down the road but need to try this first so I can complete the linkage installation and shake down the new transmission. I can also see that I'll need to drain the fresh GL90, pull both PTO covers and reseal them-nothing like an M-Series fresh rebuild that still wants to mark its territory....
