I am contemplating installing electric wipers in my truck as well. S and S truck parts(
www.sandstruck.com) offers the kit in 6,12, or 24 volt. SB896 is the 24VDC kit. SB895 is the 12VDC. Their phone is 800-621-1553. They also have lights, clutch parts, axles and other goodies.

A description of my wiper setup (including part numbers and source information) can be found at:
http://www.garbee.net/~cabell/electricwipers.htm
The units that I use are made by United Technologies and are commonly used on heavy equipment and large trucks... They've been in place for ten years and haven't missed a beat (even when driving in hurricanes...).
Enjoy.

I ran into a guy while at tractor Supply a few months back who had pulled up in an M37. While talking to him I noticed he had electric wipers in his truck. I asked where he got them and he said he bought them through JC Whitney. You may want to give them a look.... The guy's setup looked pretty sweet, so when the time comes I may give them a look as well.

Anthony;
Sorry, can't answer that one. This incident I mentioned was months ago. I honestly don't remember how they were mounted. Couldn't tell you if they interfered with the windows opening or not.
No they don't

I have mounted them in my truck. If you mount them correctly (I am talking about the electric ones like Garbee mounted) then they don't. However I later converted my windshield over to one pc solid so now it doesn't matter anyway.
