I need to check my shocks to know if they are good. How much resistance should there be when pushing and pulling on them?
Thanks,

Thanks,
If they have been there many years like most have, no need to worry about checking, just replace.

Charles,
Your probalbly right just NOS are very expensive so I would have to use regular, but not many people will notice.

NOS would be the worst thing you could buy at any price, total junk. They would be leaking fluid & worthless before you got them on good. We have some nice new current production shocks for under $50 each.

Like Charles said, NOS = worse than useless. Go with new "modern" shocks and paint them OD if you're concerned with appearance. ;)
