Stenciled on the door is "UMSM Air Force" What's a UMSM?

That is a civilian Dodge Powerwagon, not an M37........

UMSM is probably some incorrect translation of Of USMC or USN from the foreign toy company that made the trucks.

Also, to the best of my knowledge, the USAF never had any civvy Power Wagons. They had some Dodge WC models which were replaced by the M37 when it was introduced, though. Maybe the model is supposed to represent one of these? As for the "UMSM" thing, it could be a typo. With a teletype keyboard, you have to type "Figs M Ltrs" to get a period. Maybe they just forgot to hit the "Figs" key. ;)

Hey Eddie no apologies necessary!!! M37's are the other power wagon !!! I love your strata blue beast!! It means even more with both my kids in the USAF!! Maybe some day I 'll paint mine the same!!
