Flexible brake lines

So I'm actually going to work on the truck last night, preparing to run the new brake lines, and I notice that there are *four* flex lines and not three like I thought. I have no idea where I got the notion there were three but oh well.

So are all four identical? The two wheel cylinder lines are the same as the two axle lines? The previous owner gave me the three he had so now I need an extra. The three I have are identical which leads me to believe they are all the same.

I believe the three front are the same length. The single rear hose is the longer one. You should have 3 short hoses and one long. :)

I went out and compared the new ones to the rear line and it *is* longer. I guess MWM will be getting a call from me today.

Hmm...what else do I need.... :)

thanks,

You will need crush washers if you are pulling the banjo fittings :)

Whew!

I got the two front lines out, including the tee tonight. The one we tried to disconnect Saturday night was frozen and the pass. side juction was as well as the tee fitting. I finally just took the brackets loose and then used bolt cutters to sever the old lines.

Now I'm soaking the tee so I can hopefully get the lines out of it.

Progress!! :D
