BED BRACKET

what is the U shaped bracket on the pass side of the bed above the wheel well for?

I think that is for storing part of the fording kit if I am thinking of the same bracket.

When the cargo bed top supports are stowed, they are stacked on top of each other and held in place by a web strap that goes thru the bracket. Like a large footman loop. Kurt

well i have the fording exhaust stowed and it is not for that, guess stowage for the top bows sounds plausable :D is there a pic in a tm?

thats what happens when you look at a dump bed for referance... oh well if I were always right I would be rich but heck that would be no fun now would it ??

You know, I've tried that & haven't figured out exactly how to do it. Someone posted a page from a TM showing how it was done, but my bows (yes, they are stock) didn't seem long enough to strap down. Anyone have a picture out there?

Have you checked out Cable's site, he "stows his bows" in this manner.
