So I guess the one in the movie didn't really get destroyed? The writeup acts as if this truck was in the entire movie? I saw maybe two scenes with an m37 in it. In the beginning, when the ruskies enter the air force base of whatever it is, then the scene where the truck rams the staff car.

I read the writeup too, plus looked at the hat and sword auction pictures, this bloke appears to be an A-Grade Wedding Tackle Tugger who will say anything to get the sale (just my opinion, he may be legit!! 
)

"Wedding tackle" is a common euphemism for our "dangly bits" in most of the English-speaking world. Dunno why it never caught on in the States. I first encountered the term on a visit to New Zealand when I was a young boy. It was totally over my head at the time, of course, but I remember having heard it then. I heard the term used quite often during my last overseas tour (RAF Uxbridge, on the west edge of London, England). When I was first reintroduced to the term, I knew "sweet Fannie Adams" about its definition, but it took me all of about 2 seconds to make the connection.

Sorry, I sometimes forget that I am a whole culture away from you guys, I'll try to behave in future and thanks lifer for translating "wedding tackle tugger" to the more commonly known "wanker" terminology.
Charles has it in one, I haven't been able to figure out the hardcore collector ethos, I personally value an item by how much it is valued if needed as opposed to the "I MUST have it" valuation method, madness really...

Dont ya just love the slang, i am looking forward to catching up with the poms and Yanks this year in France for the 65th D-day anniversary.

No Bruce, you wont as I have too many commitments to keep me here and insufficient funds to overcome them at the moment, however, I will be taking the family to "Hells Gates" near Strahan on the west coast for a 3 day quad bike ride and camping trip whilst Corowa is on. Not quite the same I know but gotta do something for the long weekend.
