Honestly I don't know the worth. I do know that many of them have been converted to campers. I would guess its worth to be in line with what a buyers intentions for it is. Looks to be in decent condition based on your photos.

I bought mine last year for $600. And I drove from Maryland to Texas to get it. But mine was a different model than yours. I have never seen the one that you have.

I went with my brother in law to look at a bunch of these shelters at a scap dealer about 10 years ago. The seller was only asking $300 each for them. Some had parts of the radio equipment still inside. My brother couldnt bring him self to put one in his M37 as he didnt like the idea of loosing the flexibility of the open or closed bed.
Now they are hard to come by, so what ever you want for it is what you can ask. I dont think there is a "market price" for these, just ask twice what you paid for it...

This one is definately different from the shelters that are more commonly seen.I think that its more of an earlier version so to speak and also to have the data plate noting that it as well as the M37 truck are part of the commo package.I've never seen one of these refering to our beloved truck specificaly.

That thing would make a nice camper for a deer hunter or two.

I had the same thought about a camper, but being 6' 4" makes for a bit of a squeeze. I wouldnt be stretching out in that. It would be good in bear country though...

Mine is a glove fit. The door is a two pice design so you can open it with out even opening the tailgate.
