Here is my 12 Volt Electronic Wipers freshly installed. Not sure how they work yet, but they are on. Picked them up off of eBay from ABLinn.

Hard to tell for sure but these look exactly like the ones I bought from David (HingSingM37). Mine are 24V though.

They look like my 24v - do you have 10" or 12" blades showing? Good job!

Those come in 12v and 24v. Mine are also in, and I just learned this weekend that you can get away with a single hot wire for the motor even though there is also a ground wire post....

Are you saying I won't need to hook up a ground to get them working? Well, I made up a couple jumper wires to ground them to the windshield. Might as well hook them up anyway.

What is the optimum length for the blades. Mine came with 9" blades.

12" blades are optimum if the motors are sufficient & mounted in the correct place on the frame. Not sure those motors pictured will pull a 12" blade, & may not have the required sweep angle for full glass coverage. The stock blades were 10" long.

That is correct-one hot wire is all you need. I found out accidentally when one of my ground wire crimps pulled out while the motor was on-it continued cycling along with just the hot wire to the positive post. My blades appear to be 10 inch.

Oh well. My wipers have 9 inch blades. I used a wet paper towel to wet he glass and let them wipe it off to check the amount of sweep etc. Worked OK. Motors seem to move pretty slowly, although I wasn't running the engine when I tried them out. Will try them again with engine running, but not today, too cold and its windy as hell and the garage is pretty cold.

They are 9" blades, longer would be nicer, but I'll see how strong they are before looking at adding blade length.

They are slow, but that should mean power, which I hope is good.

They come in 12 volt, 24 volt, and I believe even 6 volt.

Curious, are these units the ones that have been sold by JC Whitney for years? The pictures & descriptions look & sound like the ones they offer. We tried them years ago, they were slow & the biggest killer for me was the very small blade sweep area. They literally just wiped a peep hole. They did work in light shower rain storms if you could put up with the very small cleared area. Totally useless in snow & don't even think about anything freezing, too slow & no motor torque to speak of. I decided I would rather have the vacuum motors back because of a wider sweep area. Later we put together the system we install now, pricey however they truely perform in all types of weather & offer a wide sweep area which is a must in my opinion.

Hmm, interesting. Peep hole sweep area doesn't bother me. As long as I can see out. You should see what I sometimes look through on my way to work in my F150 before the defroster gets warm enough to clear the windshield. I am always running late(my own fault), so rather than give myself the extra minute to scrape a large area, I usually scrape about a 12 inch square hole and off I go.

I am concerned about these wipers in a snow event. I'll try them (if we ever get a snowstorm again) and let you know.

This flips on a light, we are a wholesale dealer for the New Star line. We get frequent update flyers with new additions to their product line, but don't recall seeing any wiper motors. I'll check my literature tomorrow & give my rep a call, see what kind of detail I can turn up.

There catalog sure has a lot of parts for the M's

Just looked at JC Whitney, and that one (ZX899919W) sure looks like what I got!

I wonder if there longer blades will fit the arms that came with mine?
