Ok I have a hydraulic clutch on my 318 that I put in my m37 and need the master cylinder. I know how to hook it up my question is this, does it matter what m/s I use? If not what did you use?

bubba_got_you,

I started with a 3/4" MC and switched to a 1" to make sure I had enough throw, and it felt like the 3/4" wasn't enough.

Assuming you used a NP435, what slave cylinder manufacturer and part # did you use? I'm having trouble finding the proper part. Thanks.

As far as m/c for the clutch - most folks use a 3/4" bore m/c from what I saw on the web. Any old single line brake or clutch m/c with at least 3/4" bore should be good. (I might re-use the original M37 m/c for this). No matter which m/c is used, the pushrod length may need adjusted to get good clutch release and pedal feel.
