Yes I saw this truck. Unique. Cool front end and winch bumper. I added it to my watch list. I am courious to see what it brings. Looks like fresh paint.

Yes, the snowcat is groovy. I could use that in NE Ohio winters.

I've seen a couple of these trucks discussed on the old "Big E" forum. It seems that some company in WA had bought a bunch of M37s and did the power train upgrades mentioned in the notice. They also did the hard top and "updated" front clip to make them look less "military" and more "commercially desirable."

I like the power train upgrade and the hard top, but I prefer the original front clip and bumpers, myself. There was no mention of a brake upgrade, but I think one of Ray's Helitool kits would be in order.

One company that did a lot of these conversions was called "Paramount". They did a lot of duece and a halfs also. Not sure if this is a paramount conversion, but the body looks just like theirs.

Yea Lifer,The front end doesn't look as good as stock but I would love to have tilt front end.

I have a 63 M56 with the same fiberglass flip front, also my front bumper is the same as the rear bumper on the ebay truck, the winch on mine has been removed, I think by the previous owner. Mine has the orig 6Cyl. The fiberglass hardtop incorporates the windshield, wiper motors were moved to the bottom, orig windshield has been removed, and a heater was installed. My truck has also been converted to a flatbed. Signal lights and cab marker lights are different but clip is unmistakably from the same mold.

I have never been sure but I think mine was converted by Wittenburg Motor Company. I have never been able to find much info about them. They were headquartered in the north west, Seattle I think. I have no other info except that they bought M37 and variants "civilianized" them, sold them to ranchers, fire depts, utility companies, etc. I have been told they also did a diesel version based on the Nissan diesel.
