Well men the spacing plate on my winch is in bad shape. Rather than buying one I'd like to build a new one. Does anyone have the correct bolt center to center dimensions? My old one is so bent up I don't trust any measurments off of it. I want to get it right becuase that measurment is critical. Thanks

I have them for sale for $27.00 for a top plate.
I can assure you that you can spend a lot more in time and fooling around then just buying one.

I can assure you neither "fooling" around or time is an issue.

A little off topic, but does anyone know why the M37 uses a plate and the M 715 uses 2 angles for the spacing? Seems the plate would be better.

I have not noticed that the M-715 used the 2 angle irons, however I suspect that it might a modification that was used during that time period.
A lot of us have seen the 2 angle irons show up on M37's from time to time.
It would make more sence to use the solid plate as to keep things square with the world, as the 2 angles irons could "sissor" and let the bushings get out of alignment.

The manual for the 715 shows two angles for spacers. I will be ordering a plate for mine.
Sending you a pm, Tom
