I am guessing you saw the $79 duece and half top in heir latest surplus catalog. I am wondering the same thing. But the desert tan canvas would clash with my OD paint :)

The duce top can be made to fit an M37. This model of the duce cab cover had twist lock fasteners that fastened it above the door windows where the M37 top used slide in metal clips, also the duce top uses 3 metal ribs that fit between the windshield frame and the cab top bow to keep the top from saging. Both will have to be drilled to accommodate the 3/8" (I think) diameter rods. In the photograph you can see the top's contour shows the locations of the metal rods as well as the twist lock fasteners.
I appolgize for the picture quality it was taken long before the days of digital camers.

With the M35 top.... Is the width the same as the M37 or is there some tucking you need to do to make it fit?

The duce top is only slightly wider than an M37 top. If you look closely at the upper rear of the top at the back corner of the door window you can see where the duce top is wrinkled because of the difference in design width. All in all the duce top is really close to the M37s measurements but it doesn't stretch tightly like the orig. does.

My M37 top by WeeBee Webbing is really tight to install and remove so I would welcome something a little looser. Of course, I already have it so I'd be kinda silly to buy something else.

In any case, I think the M35 top looks just fine on the M37 - only a trained eye would know the diff.

Thanks for all the feedback, since I am not anywhere close to deciding on a color...desert tan will do nicely.

And yes, it was the top in the latest surplus catalog...figured might as well try it if they still have one.

Thanks again
