Hi all.

I got a little more work done on the truck. My son-in-law and I finially got a day to work on it and we spent about 5 hours till it got dark and the women folk wanted us to come in.

I've updated the webpage with all the info and some new pics.

Dial up beware it is getting picture intense.

Great write up! Will we get to preview the new "B3" changes or will they be a surprise?

I took my bed off late last year and I feel your pain on those silly phillips head bolts. I had to grind all of mine off or drill them out.

As the project goes and time and money (never have enough of either) allows I will post to the webpage and let you all know here, so as I make the changes and put them in they will get posted.

Great progress Joe! So its a B3 meaning command map truck? I like the bed canvas on those with the windows and blackout option.

The VFD sure did a # on your rig, my 53 bed looked like it hauled crush & run for 20 years after the VFD?
There's a lot happening under the driver's door.
You can try to find a decent cab that you can copy or re-produce that area, that's how I did my outlet area.

First Vrod...No not a M42 command truck... A M37B3...there was the M37 and then the M37B1. Then your M715 replaced the M37B1...My concept is what would have happen if the Army had decided to use the M37 and upgrade it like they did the M35..so I'm going to build that concept as the M37B3 the third version or rebuild...ala M35A3. Just hang on and watch as we go... :)

m-37Bruce Nice metal work...you wanna work on mine for me... :)
I was thinking that except for the hole in the floor for the MC access the drivers and passangers sides and floors are idenical so I figured I would just copy the other side. If anyone has a good cab they want to let go for a good price let me know...free is a very good price... :D
