I kind of fell into this deal. I'd spotted three M37 trucks in a field and finally saw the out of state owner was there, so stopped in to ask about them. The guy quoted a price and I bought them. But I don't really have any use for three of them, so I'll probably sell two and get the third on the road. I don't have a lot of interest in restoring, just want something fun. I'll probably replace the drivetrain, suspension (chassis?) in the truck I choose to keep and make it a driver.

If you know anyone that wants a truck these are really solid and as far as I can tell complete except for two have no tailgates. One is a B1, whatever that means.

The B1 ragtop is a '61, the hardtop is a '53, and the red one is a '58.

I'm leaning toward keeping the red one, just because I like the patina.

So I guess we'll see how it goes. I restored a car once and it got a lot of attention at car shows, but I couldn't enjoy driving it after putting all that effort and money in it. I want this one to be comfortable if I have to park it in a crowded lot.

Any advice to a newbie?
