My new M37

:D Got my first M37 in Aug., a 1951. It is a solid truck with 6225 miles on it. Had my mechanic do the brakes and carb, and a tune up with new plugs. I have a lot of misc. stuff to work on. Right now the gas tank is out while I am waiting on a replacement. Will have to clean up some surface rust on the underside. A lot of the electrical connectors are rusted/corroded. I am new to this, so it will take some time. I look forward to getting a lot of information from this site.

Welcome to the madness...becareful OD fever can strike and you'll find yourself with more than one military vehicle.

You may find that the metal shells are rusted, but the inside is clean and not corroded on the wiring. One reason later on the military changed to a rubber connector instead of the metal shells.

Ed: Welcome to the site. Just remember...we all started with just one vehicle.

Hello Again Ed,
If you need help posting a pic of your rig, or any of your vehicles for that matter, just ask?
I'm sure everyone is anxious to see your corral of MV's, I know I am!

:( Hey Bruce, I do not know how to post pictures to the site. Maybe you can give me some instructions or tell me where to find them. Ed

Hi Ed,
Any pic must be hosted on a server of some sort. Have you tried to upload any pic to Robi's Gallery? I use Webshots, both free.

If you click on the pic, it should take you to my webshots page. You can also post a link to Robi's gallery.
There are 9 tabs/buttons under the "Subject" line, the last two are for pictures, click the url, paste your link, hit preview to make sure it has worked & your laughing. That is me, almost forty years ago! 8)
