Total of four - all have cotter pins/double nuts. One is at the driver's feet - its the shortest, has no spring, and a big cup washer that acts as a spacer. The other driver's side bolt is under the seat near the rear. The passenger side has pretty much the same location. Make a note of the pin locations so you know where to tighten them when ready for install. The other 3 are the same length with bounce springs. Don't forget to remove the steering box.
Of course, "do I really want to do this?"......might cross your mind.

Thanks.... I thought it was four, but wanted to make sure I wasn't missing one.
It's not a matter of do I want to do this, but I have to do this. I'm doing a frame up rebuild therefor the cab has to come off for that, plus with the condition that my cab is in I have to either rebuild it or replace it and that requires removal of the cab...so it's a gotta do it thing.

Don't forget the 20 or so bolts of the driver side floor under the pedals, you will have to take the two pieces of the floor off before lifting the cab, then you have to take the gear lever out, and t-case/ebrake lever cover. (thats 4 more bolts)
It's not necessary to remove the transmission hump and the firewall section over it, but it helps a lot when you are lifting the cab with the engine/tranny there.

Well considering that the engine and transmission are sitting on the garage floor now I don't think they are going to be in the way of removing the cab...
