Engine P/N Interchange List

Hello out there in M37 land,
While at the machine shop today I was taken back to the parts area where there are a TON of NOS engine bits. I guess they used to service quite a few industrial flatheads and may have lots parts, BUT there's a catch, no one is sure what they have. Which brings me to my question:

Does anyone have an interchange list out there of 230 flathead internal parts? Seems most of what they have is TRW and Federal Mogul, but there's some other manufacturers too. All I have is Sealed Power numbers and they are not of any use.

I had to laugh when they pulled out a special 230 connecting rod to set up their measuring equipment!

Thanks for any help,

Andy

I assuming that you want to be able to take a known Ordnance part number, and see all of the OEM Chrysler and common aftermarket supplier cross-reference part numbers?

I recall an Excel list of something similar for the M37 parts, but don't remember where I found it. It wasn't complete by any definition, so it might not be of much use to you.

The various aftermarket parts suppliers (TRW, Federal-Mogul, etc.) periodically issued interchange catalogs, which are often available on ebay.

The Hollander books show parts interchange by year and model for the OEMs.

Dodge Power Wagon Forum includes a parts interchange file on their site (look for a "PIF" link near the top of their home page.)

It is not M37 specific, but there is M37 stuff in there.

A digging I will go!

Thanks Guys!!!

Andy

PS. I printed out the PIF that John recommended and will see if I can find any matching #'s in the shelves. Many of the parts are Thomson, which seems to have preceded TRW.

That forum is quite a bit different layout than most, but a lot of knowledgeable people on there.
