Wow, for that kind of money you could buy your own sandblaster (a good one!), and hire someone to run it.
I bought a harbor freight blaster (about $150) and blasted mine myself- not fast, but got it done.

Crazy that these still work. Too bad the wires are shot I’d reuse them.

ITS ALIVE!!!!!
And running well so far; once I figured out the timing. Don't forget there are two distributor adjustment points, lol!
I plan to drive it out of the garage this week, stay tuned!

Brrr…you can see when the cold air hits the exhaust.
If you’re rebuilding, put the fenders on LAST. I put the right one on to free up shop space but in hind sight I should have brought it in the house.
