Great system you got there! I plan on inventorying everything in an Excel spreadsheet myself, but at the rate I'm going they'll be a few newer versions of Excel by the time I get there.

My excel_lent spreadsheet is on paper. (I have no home confuser) Unfortunately it only lists what I have. Not where I stashed it. Other than "In Shed".

Nice radiators are no problem at all. A NOS one would be no good because of the age of it, copper becomes very brittle with age. We can furnish a recored radiator using original top and bottom tanks all day long. Cost for a quality recore job is in the $650-$750 range, but certainly not a hard to come by item.

I've concluded my truck is made out of 5000 $30 parts. And a few expensive ones.
And in the last couple of weeks I ran across new manufacture radiators priced at around $800.

If they are a quality radiator that fits like the original; you definitely may be onto something. The last reproduction one I tried did not fit, the tank thickness was almost too thin to measure, they disappeared from the marketplace soon after that came to light. The bottom tank was not formed correctly and didn't fit at all, not even close, so I'd be mindful of that. Another issue I'd look at closely is whether they are imports; if so be careful as the quality control of raw material and workmanship may be poor or even non-existent.

The recored ones we offer use good condition original tanks, new cores are US made, and the builder is local and has been in business 60+ years owned by the same family. They DO stand behind their work unconditionally, which is a rare thing these days.

I know the feeling about $$$ being hard to come by sometimes; however if you want a quality built item, you can't expect a vendor to lose money so you can have it cheap. I know there are people out there who believe if they bought a surplus M37 30 years ago for $500, any part that fails should be replaceable for less than the purchase price; although I have not figured out how to make that happen yet. This brings to mind a saying I've heard for years.

"The PAIN of poor quality parts and workmanship hangs around a lot longer than the joy of an initially CHEAP price tag." I guess it's up to the individual to decide; bargain basement price or quality parts and workmanship, while not getting confused between the two.

Concerning recored M37 radiators mentioned in the last couple of post; we just sent one out to our rebuilder this week. Going price at this time is $650 for a nice rebuilt radiator with a brand new current production US made core. Just thought I'd pass the info along.

Fortunately I only have some poor joints in my radiator. The core and the tanks are good. The truck doesn't run hot in Arizona. Mine cold seeps overnight.
I have the technology to cure this without spending a bunch of dosh. (There is no magical mystery to radiators. Just procedures to follow and practice. Reflowing the joints and resoldering the tanks isn't as hard as doing lead body repairs. And that is pretty easy.)

Can't find a paddle latch for an M201/V41 tool body door anywhere. They are just a little different than everything that's produced now for tool body trucks.

Can you post a pic of what you're looking for? Someone might have one and not know what it is. I know I've got a box of parts like that.
