I read that VPW got in a lot of stuff from Thialand- including fenders. I talked with them and at the time they said the fenders would be around $300 ea. These are take offs he said might have a dent or two. Seems a bit high to me, my fenders are dent free but has the rust-- I sure could use a pair of patch panels!

Hey Folks,
What's the latest on the patch panels? I too need a panel, and kick myself for not getting one as soon as I knew I needed it. I figured (hoped) after the dust settled concerning Jeep Panels Plus, someone would fill the void and manufacture the repair patches. Does anyone know where I can get a driver's side fender repair patch for under the headlight?

I intend to have some as soon as we can get a chance to do them. Had hoped to have them before now, but just have not had the time.

Thanks, Charles for the quick reply! Do you have a ball park idea when you'll have some?

Honestly, the way things look at present, it may be a couple of months out. Possibly sooner.

Thanks. I'm going to look around because I'm ready to do the patch now. However, if I strike out, I'll definitely need one kit. If you remember, could you let me know when you have some on hand?
Thanks

Not ready yet; I've been extremely tied up, son's wedding coming up in 2 weeks, new man starting work at the shop tomorrow, etc. I'll post here as soon as they are ready.

After reassessing all my projects this afternoon; I'm thinking approx. 30 days out on the patch panels. I'll do my best to have some ready to go by mid November.

OK, finally I have a few 2 piece patch panels in hand with more to come soon.
We had to build dies to press them, that is what has taken time and of course a sizable investment. Ours are more complete than the ones that have been available in the past, we went ahead and cut the 3 holes in the reinforcement panel that goes on the underneath side where the fender attaches to the front brackets. This will make alignment easier for the installer and will serve as a good template for hole location in the top panel once the patch is welded in.
Cost is $95 per fender, plus shipping, Priority mail is $18 anywhere in the US; total for 2 fenders with shipping comes to $208.
Several have already spoken for these, I'll supply those folks who asked in advance first. Please let us know if you have interest, we'll fill the orders on a first come-first served basis. Call me at the shop 704-474-4683 or email
