No I dont have a brace like that and there are no holes in the dash for one.

Happy to see you found us! I can say us even though I haven't been here all that long!! Good luck and have a blast!

Our truck is a 51 and in its life, it had the spare on the door. Remember the M-42 command and the M-43 had the spare on the door so it does not need to be a 60's truck to have it located there. If there was a need to have ALL the space in the box, I bet it was moved!!! Ours is going back as thats where I am going to mount a radio tray.

Looks like you had some fun, nice video.

The tarp is my roof I tie it to the hood brkts and pull it over, open the doors stuff in the sides and shut the doors, I dont have a top for it, so I just peel the tarp back and stuff it in the bed and I'm ready to ride . The bed is complete and has its front panel. I still have alot of work to do but a top is in the future
