Well we took the M-37 out and did about 25 miles. Brought her back with a leaking waterpump and transfer case. Took the front driveshaft out and my driveline vibration went away (I dont have unlocking hubs). I did finally get my fuel tank leak fixed but with all the "other" stuff that has come up, no parade with the MV club for us tomorrow.

Looks good! Great actually! Just the right amount of overspray on the stencils to give it that authentic look. Park on an air field and take a black and white photo and nobody would know the difference between your truck and the real deal. Good job!

LOL.......YES she still leaks like a typical MV!!! no......I did not change all the seals and a couple of them are leaking. Funny my NOS pinion seals that I installed YEARS ago are doin just fine :) Little spots are fine here and there for me. When you have been flying behind a radial engine for as many years as I have, you learn to live with it. As the saying goes. "A round engine does what a round engine does..........thats leak oil!!"

Yep rick is right.....Forgot to comment. I took my pics with the cell phone so its a bit fuzzy. Rick worked his magic again with us by helping us with our "NON STANDARD" M-37 and did our stuff in paintmask. We did it this way as dad said " In the rocket shop we did not half-ass anything!!!" So we did it in USAF EOD style! Dad laid them out, his first time doing paintmask, when I finally got down there, I found that he did a pretty dam good job!

Having spent a significant amount of time behind and under round engines the saying I am used to hearing is:

If it's not leaking the oil tank is empty!

Hi Jeff,
Thanks for stopping by. It was great to see your truck in person, and to finally meet you. Next time you are in the neighborhood, I should be further along with the project!
