Installing lock-out hubs was without a doubt, the best modification done to my M37. Second would be.... replacing the antiquated points, with an electronic ignition.

Got my Selectros from Tom at Snake River new in the box MADE IN USA. Great guy to deal with and reasonable price as well.

Another way to go is use the a non driving hub in place of the driving type. They were called a mcleary hub or some thing like that. Instead of splines the have a bearing in them. I've got a set still in cosmoline from 1955,some day I'll hopefully get them cleaned up and try them. I got them off ebay for less than 50.00.
